    Cd ripper player

Thanks for your response. Everyone has their own reasons for their choices and mine is that I DO I like to have the choice of any one any of my 10000 cds at anytime. A lot of my CDs Can't even be found via streaming., I used to be a rock DJ. My affordability is not the issue here, it’s...

    Replacement for Brennan JB7

Hi I just posted a thread as I want to do something similar ( i.e. save a load of cds) however I want to play in the car too so I thought maybe an A&K cd ripper (£399 at Richer sounds) + A&K player ( thinking of a second hand one of those for around £400) + some decent bluetooth speakers. This...

    Cd ripper player

I have many many years worth of cds, probably 10, 000 or more. I liked to play them in my car ( Not all at once) but bought a new car recently that has no CD player. Thought maybe it’s time to join the latest century and figure out the best thing to do to allow me save and listen to my cd...

Connecting a Wii to Onkyo TX-SR308

Hi all I recently bought a Wii and tried connecting to my surround sound and tv via Onkyo308 receiver. I can get sound through the receiver (via composite supplied by Wii) but no video to tv. Only way I can get video is if I connect composite direct to tv. I've read a few threads on this...

So disappointed with my new system, please help.

Thanks Voodoo Doctor! I had the digital audio & hdmi inputs set correctly on the menu which comes up on tv screen. However there is an 'audio' button on the remote which then sets preference which was still set to hdmi. Thankyou - sound from sky hd box sounds much better now!

So disappointed with my new system, please help.

Wow! now I am confused. I've got it connected as you say via hdmi's but from what the other guys were just saying I won't get dolby 5.1 through hdmi, I can only get it via optical or coax?

So disappointed with my new system, please help.

Thanks for the continued feedback here guys. Thought about comments from a couple of you and then realised my ignorance! I missed out an important point, I have a sky hd box and obviously now I see that the hdmi output from this connects to receiver input and then 1 hdmi is out of receiver to...

So disappointed with my new system, please help.

Hi, Thanks for feedback folks. I'd no idea that you needed to run in a speaker so I'll definately try that + the settings and report back. Had the system for around a month but not given them a real good workout yet. As for " sound through telly" I play sound from tv through the tv hdmi output...
