Just a quick update. My mate called to say that Panasonic have arranged for an engineer from Martin Dawes to come out to check it tomorrow - fingers crossed! Doesn't sound like customer service have covered themselves in glory but this week they've been more forthcoming.
I won't bore you with...
Hi j4mm3r - its definiyely not a source issue. When I went round he showed football (Sky HD), DVD (Star Trek) & various blu-rays (Eagle Eye, Oz the Great and Powerful, Red) to name a few samples with Contrast set relatively low (ISF-calibrated remember) & still motion issues & curious bluring...
Thanks strapped for cash.
IFC is set to minimum with ISF calibrated night/day modes. The issue arises irrespective of modes set. And he's now had to write another email to Panasonic after having had no response from them. The calibration was done in the hope that the issues would either be...

Hi there. Not sure - it was on THX until he had it ISF calibrated (at no small cost), which is the bizarre thing, that we can all see it but the calibrator couldn't state there was anything exceptional!?! I'll ask about the IFC & post later.
Has anyone experienced any image issues with their Panasonic TX-P50GT60B?
Friend bought the GT60 & noted image movement issues - things he nor I have ever seen before. Examples include a scene in Star Trek where the bright white light panel on the ship creates blue & yellow images on the...
Well then all you savvy-minded, penny-wise companies. You heard it here from Andrew - if you're looking to recruit & don't fancy paying out up to 50% of salary costs in agency fees, just post it here instead! You know it makes sense.
[Hope no-one reading this works in the recruitment industry...
How the smeg does a guy get taken seriously around here? This was supposed to be a serious suggestion to offer a financial opportunity to WHFS&V and better still link good people with good jobs!
Now we're talking about the invasive topics of double-entry, re-gassing & being re-plumbed! This...
LOL.
I'm with professorhat - sounds a tad unpleasant to say the least. I could go further, but this isn't the place.
No plumbing from me I'm afraid - just double-entry book-keeping.
Not that I beleive you're in need of the money (cough, cough), but have you ever thought of using the website to allow the very firms you review to advertise their job vacancies?
Surely some of your readers will be ideal candidates for opportunities across this specialist field (present...
Not in terms of recommending DNM - rather in another debate regards Cyrus cables he suggested the Cyrus (£30/m) might be ott when the DNM version was less than half the price & (I think) made by the same people. (DNM is actually made in Switzerland by Reson - hence the DNM Reson name).
Hope...
Gotham? I really am a novice on the wire/cable debate. Mention Gotham & I'm thinking bats & red-breasted birds, but hey that's probably just me!
I'll scout the internet & see what I can find, but your timing is bad. Being one of those people who takes ages to make a decision (aka 'spend my...
Thanks Claire - and just in the nick of time! I've been reading some old reviews form WHSV on the DNM & Brilliance cables. I hadn't looked too much at van de Hull as i haven't seen many reviews on them (there are only 2 extreme options in WHSV - one at £45 the other £250 - and no recommended...
