I've heard cheaper amps driving expensive speakers sounding amazing, and I've heard very expensive amps driving budget speaker managing the same trick, there really are no rules, there are so many variables, amp power, room size, speaker efficiency that one need to take in to consideration.

I'vw always found those Neats to sound quite funky, I would add the Kudos Cardea C2 to your list to audition, they have a clear quick tone, however I think the speakers are not so much the problem but your small square room is, maybe some Kudos C1 would be better or some top end Acoustic...

This forum is no different to any other forum, they all go round in this monotonous spiral of arguing over whether cables make a difference, are cables directional, do power cables make a difference, 1 and 0 are all the same, nothing makes a difference, all dacs sound the same, it's never...

Only blokes could argue endlessly over cables and whether or not they make a difference, this really has to be the most tedious and repetative subject ever to inflict mankind, does any one really care what some guy and stranger on the web thinks or gives any value to whether he thinks they hear...

I think you've read it wrong, it doesn't say all models have this problem, just yours and maybe a few other, certainly not all of them.

You might find you're going to end up dissapointed, it's going to take something pretty good to beat those old missions, they really offer a lot for what they cost, I doubt theres much better under £600 that will offer much more sonically, in my list I think I would look at Rega, Epos and the...
