Okay I re-setted the AV receiver and plugged the subwoofer into the pre out and not multi channel subwoofer port and on test it does not work but on the mic automated control it worked. For some reason test tone won't work on it.

Hi This may get asked a lot but I'm not sure how to go about looking for what answer I need. Any how do AV receivers automatically set it self to the recommended movie sound setting kinda like it's own preset. Is their a terminology for this and if not do I need special cables or something.

Thank you for your reply i am impressed with the ones you have pointed out just hope my AV reciver preforms just as well and not give it a bottle neck effect.

Since it denies me to edit i should also mention i do want speakers to be small as well probably same size or slightly bigger than pc speakers. The sub woofer really does not matter what size it is.
