I tried the Tellurium Q Black, but found it transparent but unforgiving. In comparison I found the slightly more expensive Tellurium Q Blue Diamond (the old "Green") did reduce an existing brightness. But of course every system and situation is unique - specific listening is only way to know.

A Rega Elex-R is far preferable to the Brio-R for the KEF LS-50's, if you like the Rega sound.

For me, adding a Rega DAC-R to an Apollo-R with Elex-R and KEF LS50's added 200%. - a combination "made in heaven". But the sumptuous sound of the Elex-R with the LS50's was enhanced, not tamed. I have heard the Rega DAC-R on my system (see my signature below), and it is just wonderful! Improved the sound as much as the earlier upgrade from the Brio-R integrated amp to the Elex-R. I am absolutely over the moon.

This is the single biggest miss-understanding by cable 'advocates'. They actually think that cable 'sceptics' dont hear a difference......*ROFL* If they hear a difference, they hear a difference.

What is being said is that one perfectly good, adequately thick, properly specified cable will sound exactly the same as any other perfectly good, adequately thick, properly specified cable. if you can't notice the difference, you can't notice the difference.
