Thanks... and I do get that (ie it will highlight the original quality issues) but what I am unclear on is why when I stream HD its bad too. When I watch HD from Satellite its darn good to look at (no ghosting) despite being only 1080i. Even Blu Ray gets ghosting ... maybe its due to the quality...

I recently bought an all singing, all dancing Samsung 75" 4K UHD tv (HU8550). It got rave reviews and was very pricey( I am now living in the US). I have noticed that frequently I get a lot of ghosting images(not sure if this is the right technical term) around peoples heads and moving objects...

Yes... switched off all the s7200 upscaling, and yes I did change the cable ( althought with the same cable my old system works well). No difference. DVD's and streamaing from the Sony in particualr are really bad. At first i thought it was maybe the TV being a 4K but I feed satellite into it...

I bought the S7200 (I am a Brit living here in the US) recently after reading the glowing review on this site. I have it connected to a Pioneer Elite SC87 ( 1 model below the top of their line in the US...a fantastic receiver) and then feeding to a 75" Samsung 4K UHD HU8500 Smart TV(also new)...
