YSP-30D Under the tv question!

Hope someone can help.....Im looking at buying a Sony-kdl-37ex503.Looking at also getting an Alpherson TV stand and the YSP-30D....But Can not find a stand that will let me place the YSP-30D on a separate shelf.So my question is...will it fit on the same shelf as the tv, or will it cover the bottom part of the tv? @ 155mm high im guessing it will.....Not sure what else I can do, a part from buying the YSP-600?

I had a similar Alphason stand. The TV is supported / hung on the stand so it does not have to sit on its own pedestal and take up a shelf. Means shelves are freed up for other equipment.

I too used mine in a similar way and had a soundbar on the shelf below the TV. Just make sure the soundbar not too long for the shelf. Mine was close.

Thanks for the reply....I think I may have to go down that route....my only prob is I only have a gap that is 42 Inches. The YPS-600 should fit fine as it is only 4 inches high, But Cant work out what the difference is between the 30D and the 600.

My only other option is the new Sony Sound Bar that is coming out, would prefer the Yamaha!

But not sure if the speaker will be too low?

I have just bought one of these and I highly recomend it. Ok it doesn't have acres of shelf space but it houses my amp, Centre, Blu Ray freesat and wii and its rock solid too.

thanks....looks a nice stand, but the sound bar will overhang the shelving unit big time!

If you look on HiSpek site and type in Yamaha YEFSTO20B AV Stand this was designed purely for the Soundbar and I believe your model in particular. Rather expensive though.
