Yamaha vs marantz

Hi guys,
I have a pair of Q acoustics 3050i's and I'm looking at a good old school Intergrated Amplifier. I'm currently looking at the yamaha as501 and the marantz pm6007,I'd appreciate feedback on either/both amps please.

Tricky as other people will not have used these amplifiers with your speakers in your listening room.
Assuming both have the facilities you need suggest you audition before purchase.

Mmmm I can always tell a Yamaha system as I just don’t get on with the sound. But last one I heard was about 2010. Marantz sound I could live with but did not end up with.
