Hi

In order to get the sub to work with my 673 amp, I've found it's necessary to set the front speakers to small. My speakers are:

Centre - Monitor audio radius R225

Fronts - Monitor audio radius R180

Rear - Monitor audio radius R90

Sub - Monitor audio radius R360

The fronts aren't really small so why do I have to set the amp to think they're small. Should the rears be set to small or large?

Thanks

Mark

if you speakers are set to large all the bass frequencies go to your speakers and the sub will only get life channel, set to small and say crossover 80h the sub will get everything below 80,this is the setting thx recomends.

Set all speakers to small & 80hz crossover. Take time to listen & adjust distances, volume of channels& sub volume. Then (if you are like me a permanent fiddler) experiment with crossover and small/large. I've often tried different settings but usually get back to this 'recommended reference. As above the term small/large is misleading - it determines where the bass (below crossover) goes.
