Hello,

I'm making new home theater system and I will appreciate your advice. I have Yamaha RX-A820 AV receiver and I'm in quest for speakers for it. My room is not big (app. 195 feet - 4,5m x 4m) and I have decided to buy bookshelf speakers.

My questions are:

1. Will ProAc Studio 115 be good for HT use? They are great speakers for music but how they perform as a part of HT?

2. In your opinion will ProAc's be a good match with my Yamaha?

3. ProAc Studio Center have impendance of 4 ohms and Studio 115 have impendance 8 ohms. Can I attach them without problems to the receiver? In user manual they say the receiver must be set to 6 ohms to wire 4 ohms speakers, but what about Studio 115 which is 8 ohm in this case?

I asking about your opinion because I cannot make an audition (they are not available for audition where I live).

Thank you in advance.

P.S. Excuse my bad gramar. English is not my native language.

Best regards
