Hello,

I bought "RX-V375 AVR" , "NS-PA120 5.0 speaker System" and "YAMAHA YST-SW 216 Subwoofer" Speaker System from MediaMarkt Germany.

The impedance value of NS-PA120 5.0 speaker System is 6 ohms, but the factory value is 8 ohms.I tried 5 steps mentioned below on AVD machine, but I could not see "SP IMP" menu.

1- Before connecting speakers, connect the power cable to an AC wall outlet.
2 - While holding down STRAIGHT on the front panel, press (power).
3 - Check that “SP IMP.” is displayed on the front display.
4 - Press STRAIGHT to select “6Ω MIN”.
5 - Press (power) to set the unit to standby mode and remove the
power cable from the AC wall o

To sum up, How can I make impedance value as 6 ohms on RX-V375 AVR, rather than 8 ohms?

Coult you help.

Hi RealX11
Only US and Canadian models can be switched 6 or 8 ohms. I assume you are not in US or Canada...
For other models, the manual states "Use speakers with an impedance of at least 6 ohms", so your speakers should be fine.

The speaker I use is 6 ohms. The factory setting of AVR machine is 8 ohms.
Does not it create a problem?
