Just a quick comment. You don’t need a dedicated room to listen to high end headphones. I won’t go into the technical reasons, but simple put, sounds isn’t reflecting off of walls! Also, the Focal Clear are far from the best headphones you can get, even from focal. One you think someone that works for what hifi would know that.

That's true you don't need a listening room, but I can still fantasise about having somewhere to escape to for an undisturbed listen. And I'm aware that the Clear aren't the highest-end, but even they are beyond my means.
