Depends on what you needed to run. I never used it personally, like yourself I went straight from XP to Windows 7 but I've seen a few people who still use it and it's fine, but then they only use it for web browsing, email etc. I think if you played games, it was pretty awful (games that wouldn't run, others crashed etc).

Not a fan for the pc inviroment. I can't remember any of the programes I want to use.

I can see its use in places but as a work tool for me I can't see it working yet.
