Will Sky get installed in this weather?

Due to have Sky installed today, but 10am now and no phone call from the engineer to say what time he is coming - will it be a no go with this snow?

Damn i was looking forward to today :-(

Well, the Sky guy who lives near to me pootled off in his van this morning, and we had more than a sprinkling of fresh snow this morning.

I guess it'll depend on the local circs, but I'd give the installation service people a call and they'll call the engineer.

It was the internet I was worried about. With everyone who wasn't already on the internet at work at home on the internet wondering if they should be at work the entire UK infrastructure ground to a halt. Really showed it's limitations.

I had my Sky dish installed on a three storey house (chimney stack!) in the middle of a blowing gale. The installer had some big cahones!
