why no THX sound on games

I could never understand why THX has not taken the jump to Games, now that games are taken more money that movies, seems to me THX has not kept up with technology , blueray tin if any on the ground

Well firstly, how many people have THX certified AV amps?

Second, to my knowledge many games are Dolby Digital and/or DTS encoded - which for many will be good enough.

Third, I can't remember when last I saw a THX certified movie at a cinema, except for Star Wars which was a long, long, long time ago.

iirc thx doesn't really add anything, it's only a guarantee of a certain standard or recording/equipment playback.
