Which tv to buy under £250

Hi. Can anyone recommend a TV for under £250. The tv will be used in the bedroom and will be fed from sky so digital is not a high requirement? Ideally i'm looking at 22-26".

Hi, my little brother has just had a 22" LG lcd tv to go with his ps3, he is extremely happy with it, and from what I can see, the picture is really good!! He bought it from Comet about a week ago, priced at £219.00 - bargain.

I looked at a lot of screens in Comet/Curry's recently and ended up going with the Samsung LE22A457C1D (£241 at RGBdirect). Plenty of positive user reviews for the screen and having installed it I'm quite pleased with it's SD/HD performance.

What is the sound like as i've heard from various sources that the sound on some smaller tv's is poor. With this in mind I took a trip to my local Empire Direct and asked the lady for a demo of some 22" models. Reluctantly she obliged and it soon became clear that my fears were correct. All the pictures were excellent (as you would expect showing BBC HD channel) but apparenty regardless of the make the sound was very poor on them all.

Can anyone recommend and all round tv i.e good picture and sound or is that askig too much for less than £250?

My sharp LC20-somethingorother sounds fine, walked all over the alternative LG models, which were appalling. Can't speak for any others, apart from my very old standard def 23" Philips which sounds fabulous.
