WHICH TV TO BUY - advice needed

I am looking to purchase a new tv in the next few days and my two options are the following :-

Panasonc 50V10

Samsung UE46B8000

The tv will be used to watch sky, play PS3 games but mostly to watch Blu Ray movies.

Can anyone please tell me which tv they feel is the better and provide the better picture quality / performance ?

I haven't seen the Panasonic V10 in action, but if you're thinking of buying one there are some great discounts here, including the 50in model.

Can you tell me what the samsungs performance was like with Blu ray movies ?

(I know that it got 5 out of 5 in the magazine)

In a word, excellent. To quote directly from the review:
