I currently own a Yamaha 667 and BX2 Fronts (FR, C, FL) and i'm very happy with them so far. I upgraded from a Logitech Z5500 and still have those as my Surround Satellites and occasionally the other 2 are zone 2/front presence. The Centre is upright to the left of the TV and ive included a drawing of my room layout.

Fireplace is the grey rectangled on the right and the rest should be identifiable?

I'm wanting to upgrade the surrounds (light orange) but Im not sure if its worth while / practical to go for either the BXFX or another pair of BX2 at the sides?

Suggestions? I also still havent bought a subwoofer yet!

Hi. I also use Monitor Audio speakers in my 5.1, but I have the RS series at the front. I recently changed my rear speakers from BR1 to R90HD and the difference in quality is significant.
They are small and really well made, although at £350 for such a small speaker they might not sound great value for money compared to other MA speakers. But they so are worth the money. They can be wall mounted or you can buy specially designed stands just for this speaker which are fantastic.
I saw earlier today on eBay that a dealer had a pair of pre owned R90HD with stands for £275.
If I didn't already have them I'd get them
