I have a Samsung UE40B7020 LED TV with Sky HD+ box

I have an older Hi Fi seperates including Arcam Alpha CD player thro a Arcam Delta 60 amp into Linn Helix speakers all rpobably 15y old at least but giving a pure sound to me at least.

It is in a large L shaped room

Would CD playback thro eg Samsung HT-BD1255 blu ray system give better results than what I have - or should I look at an AVReceiver to channel my CD player into the system and if using seperates what speakers + Blu-ray player should I look at? Would I be able to use the Linn speakers with an AVR?

The Samsung All-In-One is not going to outperform your Arcam/Linn system for CD replay.

What is your budget??

I think that you may have a good system with your arcams and Linn speakers, so first audition at a hifi store before deciding to spend money ...

you may be pleasantly surprised at what you already own ... perhaps upgrade the cdp to a rega, and upgrade to some decent cables ... but audition first
