which onkyo amp 505 or 605

HI,I am looking to buy a onkyo amp either 505 or 605 ,i know that the 605 is the better amp but i am on a budget and i am thinking is DOLBY TRUE HD worth the extra money.i have ps3 and jamo a102hcs speakers,any replays would be gratful.

Well, as the PS3 can handle high-def audio on Blu-ray discs, then yes, I'd say it's worth paying the extra for the Onkyo 605 to get the full benefit of high-definition sound with movies. I appreciate it may bust your budget, but at least then your system will be futureproofed for better sound. Question is, do you use the PS3 mainly for gaming or watching movies?

HI,i mainly use ps3 for gaming but also quite a bit of movies.i was hoping the answer was going to be the 605 the next question is ,is it worth waiting for the new 606 model
