Hello,

I bought a heed canamp and I was wondering what headphone would go well with this amp?

I read that the HD650 from sennheiser is not a good combo, is this correct? What headphones would work well with the heed?

thanks,

Maurice

I think you need to buy headphones based on your musical tastes and equipment. Tell more please.

Maybe have a look at the new high res Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 headphones, or the Musical Fidelity MF-200. Both very neutral.

Indeed - those are 2 that I don't have now but am very interested in.

Wow, the spammers are out in force on this thread. Give a little more info about your tastes and musical preferences and some of us will help.

Strongly recommend AKG K701/2 or equivalent. I used to run this combination and it had very good synergy. Many Head-Fi'ers liked it too.

I now run a Lehmann BCL and HD800 but am sure I could still happily live with the Heed/AKG combo.

Normally you're supposed to choose a headphone then get the best amp (you can get) for it, but the headphones that are known to sound a lot better on the CanAmp than others near its price range is the AKG K7xx series.
