which 37inch tv to buy? any advice please.

hello i am looking to buy a 37 inch lcd and it looks like a straight choice between the sony 37w5500 and the panasonic txl-37s10b.

both best buys from 2008 and 2009 which one would you recommend?

Thing I don't quite understand is why they're the selling the 37V5500 for £50 more. Seems a bit odd to my humble mind.
