Which 1080p projector

I'm looking at the same - going to audition the Sanyo PLV-Z700 (£1,000), InFocus IN80 (£1,600) and the Panasonic PT-AE3000 (£2,000). Okay - it looks a bit unfair a comparison at this stage but the main thing is to see what the extra money gets you given these are all 5 star rated projectors i.e. I'd expect quite a big difference in quality between the Sanyo and the Panasonic! Once I've done that, I'l have a look at the other competition in that price bracket.

Found somewhere I can demo the InFocus next week, just need to find somewhere which stocks the other two (though to be fair, I haven't really looked that hard yet!).

Great Advice FrankHarveryHiFi - imo too an excellent projector which is overlooked as its not marketed as well in the UK - i think. A glowing review from What Hifi would certainly change things...

I've got a Sony VPL-HW10 which I'm pleased with.

Really wish the WHF would do something on projector screens. Getting info on what makes a good one is not easy and prices vary widely.

A glowing review from What Hifi would certainly change things...Cheers - unfortunately Mitsubishi don't have much of a marketing budget at the moment, so yes, it is unfortunate that there's not much advertising or reviews going around.
