is there anyway that you can inform us when products will be reviewed in advance ?? or do you never know when you will recieve these products. we all appreciate reviews and it can be frustrating when new products are released but no reviews in sight ?? at least it gives us the option to wait for a review date or take a chance on buying beforehand ??

It's hard enough putting together a 'next month' page in the magazine, so tricky is extracting products from PRs with any degree of reliability.

And of course publishing a list of reviews in advance might just play into the hands of the other magazines out there.

But where we know about specific products upcoming and in out position, we'll respond accordingly to enquiries when we can.

ok, more reviews on the new sony tv's ?? in particular, for me sony hx series ? i find it wierd companies like sony dont get you a model prior to release ? it happens with other things like phones, cars etc ??

Reviews of all the new TVs from all the brands are definitely a priority, and we find it just as strange as you that companies don't prioritise the biggest-selling magazine in the market - by some margin - when sending out review samples.

But since you mention Sony, it seems the company only has one review sample of most sets, and for whatever reason it seems some of the initial samples have been sent elsewhere.

We'll review them as soon as we get them...
