The sticky we posted to introduce the section got the EDITED spammed out of it to such an extent – 5 or 6 pages of posts advertising handbags, trainers and the like – that I unpublished it pending having the time to clean it up, which with our current EDITED software, is going to take a while.
When I get time, I will do so and reinstate it; in the meantime, feel free to start new threads with your tips.

Re the slowness of the site, we have an update to the spam software (Mollom) which we hope to push through later this week. The hope is that will improve things, but with the massive volume of spam we're getting hit with at the moment further work may be necessary. It's frustrating, I know (not least for us Editors when trying to post news/reviews etc on the site).
Well done Mr Clough,any chance you can sort the spamer's who keep calling us on our home telephone number...even on a bloody bank holiday?? :shifty:
GSB, Get caller id then you know who the spam callers are and don't answer the phone, thats what i do. 😉
We have but the buggers just use a withheld number...have to answer it incase it's work related. :roll:
