Whats the best way to connect

Hi , I have recently purchased an Onkyo 506 amp and Q Aqu 1030 speakers ,i have a samsung 32 lcd tv and want to connect my toshiba dvd.

What is the best way to do it , aswell as what are the best cables i need . to connect to dvd to TV to Amp and AMP to the speakers , whats a budget option to use in terms of cables , but something that will do a good job,

If your Toshiba has an HDMI socket, use that to connect straight to the TV, and use a digital interconnect to the receiver for the sound. QED Qunex HDMI-P will be fine for the HDMI, with a QED digital cable for the sound.

For sound from broadcast TV, use either a digital connection or a stereo analogue pair to the TV input on the receiver.
