What would you change?

Hey, just wondering from my specs, what would you change.

Bookshelf, budget up to 400.00 or leave the 9.1 was looking at ( b&w 685, rx2, mezzo 2, ikon 1.)

Surround : almuni or change, ..... budget up to 200.00

amp: pioneer VSX 819 .... budget up to 400.00 or leave the current as this amp is good enough.

TV its a great what hi-fi 5 star winner for multiple years, and gives a great HD pic, or would you upgrade to 1080p

I wont be doing all, just wondering what you would do first. this is all movie watching as well.

If it were my money. I'd sort out the mish-mash of speakers first.

Yeh the IKON centre seems a bit strange compaired to the rest, but got it new for 99.00.

The 9.1's got for 99.00 new as well, and the alumni, was for the wife as she did not want anything big in the back...

I dont want small speakers for the front as like a lot of sound, but the wife did not want big speakers on the rear wall. and I cant standmount, due to the sofa we have.

so hence the mish mash..

I want to replace everything soon, just wondering whats first, as cant afford a whole 2000.00 speaker pack all at once . as thats what I think I might need to make a massive difference in sound

I can understand that. Maybe get some Dali fronts, and then get a pair of those Fazons for the rears, if you need discrete surrounds.. At least they'll all be from one manufacturer.

250.00 each for those fazons... No thanks.

Would rather wall mount some 685's... LOL

I might sell the centre as got a deal on it, but not spending that on one speaker for surround

Ouch! If you're looking at B&W, try the 685s up front, the matching centre and a pair of M1 sats for the rears. I think Prof Hat has the same setup and he says it's great.
