I thought this months What HIFI (August Edition) was very disapointing for the music lover. Great if u love TV's and home cinama. I decided not to purchase. I can remember the days when I use to look forward to the new edition being published on a monthly basis. Not any more. Thoughts?

If the magazine only featured hi-fi then it wouldn't sell.
Hi-fi is a tiny niche in the bigger world of 'audio' (mostly headphones*) and that in turn is but a tiny niche in the overall world of all electronic home / car / portable entertainment*.
*What Headphones & Earphones? (if there were such a title) would probably outstrip sales of all 'dedicated' hi-fi magazines by about 100 to 1.

It's a decent point. There should be a better balance between them; say one third each of video, hi-fi and accessories. It's not always possible to get near these ratios in reality.

But seriously, looks like WHSV is having to change with the times to cling on like grim death to sales and readers at a time when all magazines are selling a lot less copies and the hi-fi market is in decline; I mean, have you seen how few copies the other, more 'specialist' hi-fi titles sell these days?
