Hello, I'm looking to but a pair of Headphones to go with my ipod/mp3player.I'm after a on ear type and I've heard that the Bose on ear is a very good Headphone? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.
I've heard a couple of pairs of Bose, admittedly in less than ideal environments, and been extremely unimpressed. Most HMVs and Apple stores have them on display hooked up to an iPod if you want to have a listen.

Me too! Tried some Sennheiser HD201s in HMV last weekend, what a load of rubbish. But the Bose are excellent and I find that they keep most of the noise out. Apple stores are better than HMV, less noise.
Going back to your original comment on Bose these are excellent and off Amazon just over budget. They sit more around the ear than on the ear. But they are not very bulky and build (though I see some reviews criticise build, that is not my experience) and sound is excellent. They have a real drive and dynamic to them, the Bose house sound.
With my Walkman I use Sennheiser's HD 25 sp. They are closed back, on ear headphones. I like the sound, which is detailed although rather bass heavy. I think you can pick them up from Richer Sounds for about £70.
