What amp and speakers to go with denon cd player?

Hello I have recently bought a Denon Dcd-600NE cd player and I have wondered what amplifier and speakers would sound good with this.I will spent up to £400 for each product,
I listen to a lot of different music from Jazz and Blues to Rock.Room is decent size.

Then think of matching Denon PMA600 amplifier.
If you can spend a little more on the speakers

I bought the cd player first because my Cambridge Audio azur 640c packed up,would not play any discs.

The best way to pick a new system would be speakers first, followed by amplifier and finally the source.

I would decide next on a pair of speakers and then pick an amplifier.

Buying used will get you a far better system, if you are not comfortable buying used electronics, recent used speaker are a pretty safe bet.
