You wont be able too. I used to have 4 remotes (tv, amp, dvd player & sky box). I have just bought a 2nd hand harmony one remote off of ebay for £66 for my parents. They are supposed to be v good (RRP about £150 but amazon sell new for £99)

HAve a look at the Sky support site on the web. They tell you how to do it. I have just recenty done it to match my new TV. You enter the TV model number and it gives you some codes to enter into the sky remote. It is quite straight forward.

the_lhc:I used the codes in the back of the user manual to do it. Got my SkyHD controlling my AV amp!

Great idea! Think i'll do the same to get the mrs using it instead of crummy tv audio!

The process is slightly different from setting it up for a TV (you press "1" at some point instead of "0"), I think there was a website posted on here sometime ago that gave the details, I have the link at home if nobody else posts it first.

It did take me a couple of goes to get it right. If it works you can also power the amp on and off using the Sky remote as well, you press "TV" followed by the left navi button.

And that's exactly the reason I did it as well, and the missus has got the hang of it. She didn't have much choice though, the new TV hasn't got any speakers!
