Should have 4 large circular plastic covers which you can remove and these are the ones you should use with a suitable wall mount, ie. the one prof suggested.

i've just bought an attacama equinox av rack with an arm and bracket but wasn't sure where the holes where. i'd found the ones under the plastic covers but thought i'd better check first.

thanks again.

the mount is for upto 37 inch screens, it's at least 6 inch too narrow. i'm guessing that the mounting holes on the screen are non-standard. they don't look very strong either.

I used one of these bad boys for my 42 inch plasma and its quality stuff put this in-http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/37-60-LCD-PLASMA-WALL-MOUNT-BRACKET-TILT-SWIVEL-BL_W0QQitemZ380018993445QQihZ025QQcategoryZ48656QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.
You may find cheaper versions if you spend time looking as mine was cheaper but near identical, It got lots of movement and should do the trick!

Hope it helps.

thanks for the reply paul, the rack i have is the equinox avi ts which has a built in plasma stand. it has 2 brackets which attach to the back of the tv, no problems there. they then hook onto the wall mounting bracket which is attached to a vertical arm on the rack rather then on the wall. it's the wall bracket part of it that is too narrow.

the shop i got it from contacted atacama who say i need a different part which should be here soon but i'm not convinced as the shop said atacama weren't aware it wouldn't fit. although the 2 brackets/hangers are big enough to reach the holes on the back of the tv, none of the supplied screws are anywhere near big enough to use. also when i took the circular covers off the tv it looks as though the part i will screw into is made of plastic. it doesn't say anything in my tv's manual about it and now am wondering if its supposed to be wall mounted? i know the 42 inch can be but not sure about the 37 now, mainly based on the weak looking screw holes and atacama not knowing what would be suitable on what seems quite a popular tv.

This is really disappointing, Craig. I was going to get one of these racks myself for the same TV - the thinking being that there would be space for a centre speaker on top of the unit. I'm very interested to hear how you get on.

i've done more rooting around and found another forum where several posters have wall mounted this tv, so that's good. it seems the pana has a IIRC bolt spacing rather then the more usual VESA. i will let you know how i get on and the name of the correct part if it arrives. if you're planning on picking one up rather then having delivered you'll need a big car! the shelves structure is welded rather then bolted so no flat pack here

Yeh thats right, forgot to mentino about the VESA. Yeh the most commno one is that so as you say thats the reason why you were having trouble.
I had to to use different screws also, as the ones supplied did not look up to the job, plus i added a lot more for security and a chain.

this tv needs the bigger bracket for 42 inch plus screens. the supplied screws with the larger bracket did the job fine. if anyone gets one of these racks put the bottom shelf on before attaching the arm that holds the tv, the shelf doesn't go in with the arm attached.

i had my roksan kandy cd and amp on the old cabinet stand and was quite sceptical that a rack could improve the sound. on the atacama the improvement was not at all subtle. much cleaner and with a noticeable tightening of bass. the cable routing is a bit of a faff but i guess i wont be messing with it for a while, overall very impressed with it.
