Hi

My boss wants to buy his son a new tv for his xbox one for christmas and wants to use his current 32 inch 2 year old sony bravia as a monitor for pc gaming.

1- how do you connect the tv to the hardrive

2-what will the quality of the gaming be like compared to a standalone 21-32 inch monitor

My boss has yet to buy the hardrive.is there any models that you guys would recommend.it wont be for games like call of duty more for games like the sims and civilisation 5 etc

He would like to keep the cost of his new tv for the xbox one and the new hardrive under £500-£600

Id have no problem choosing the right tv for him.i have a basic understanding of gamer lag,but when it comes to pc's im clueless.

Firstly - what are you meaning by "new hardrive"? Do you mean he is buying a new PC for this? Also, can you let us know what model the old Sony TV is (not essential, but would help to know what connections it has)?

Thanks for the speedy reply professorhat but my boss has decided just to go with the xboxone and forget about a standalone PC ,after a chat with a guy in currys the xboxone is all his son will need ,it's a PC built in aswell as a gaming console and a blu ray drive,it's also 5x more powerful than a mac so it must be some machine.
