Urgent: Sony KDL-46x4500 anyone know game input lag and infared compatibility

Hi,

I have tried searching for day but cannot get a defintiive answer to input lag in game more on this Sony (I really dont want to get sniped in new Callof Duty!) and if I can use my exisitng Logitech Harmony 55 remote (infared only) or if I will have to buy the more expensive 900 (~£300!) with radio frequency. I know the Sony ships with the RM-ED012 radio frequency remote but cant get an answer as to whether it can accept infared inputs?

Any help much appreciated, trying to make a final purchase decision today!

Hi,

I'm not sure how relevant this is but my 40W5500 has an input lag of 8ms for gaming so i'm pretty sure the Z model will be a similar figure as it's the next one up from my TV. Don't be alarmed with that figure though as i have had my W5500 for a few weeks now and have not suffered online with COD or MW2 atall and as i understand it that figure is the absolute worst that it will be. Hope that helps, and i'm sure you will be ok with your current Logitech Harmony 55 remote aswell, you will just need to reprogram it to work with a sony tv.
