Upgraded power cale for Rega DAC

I've been readiing on some of the US forums that the rega DAC benefits from an upgraded silver shielded power cable and improves the DAC no end, yes I am a bit sceptical especially as the DAC sounds so good with the stock cable

Has anybody tried a shielded cable?

Before I upgraded, I had the rega dac, and I put in a shielded power lead, (standard kettle with cloverleaf adaptor) it was very marginally better in the lower bass dept, didn't do anything anywhere else, but it was a slight improvement.
