TVs with night mode

What's the point in night mode on iPads and phones when you watching TV with full blue LEDs on? So are there any TVs that also have night mode so you can turn down the blue led last thing before bed?

this post sent me to sleep. *biggrin*

but seriously I'm not sure what you mean about "blue led's", my tv has a red led on the front to indicate when its in standby mode and I have to press a button on the back of the tv to switch it off completely.

colour changing led's at the rear, I tried it once and found it so distracting after 5 mins that I turned it off and haven't used it since, if I'm suffering from eyestrain then either i'm sitting too far away from the tv or I should go to bed because I'm too tired.

Modern mobile devices have a setting which automatically changes the colour temperature of their screens at night, usually by slightly reducing the intensity of the blues and making the image 'warmer'. All he's really asking is does anyone know of a TV which has a similar automatic function. It's nothing to do with stupid chavvy backlights that reflect off a wall or the colour of the LED indicators. *dash1*
