Hey guys Ive been after a new TV for a year or two now my 42" Goodman's 1080P just doesn't cut it well it never did from day one, but i not long since purchased a new house and i just don't have the funds to folk out for a new one.

However Ive just been told that we hit one of our work targets and we get an incentive a new TV YAY however just been told its a 26" :( so unless it comes with binoculars its just no good.

My question is can anybody think of any store that Would possibly exchange/trade in against a bigger TV i no its along shot but ya never no Its a Sony 26" so your looking between the £250-350 mark couple hundred quid more you can get something half decent.

I'm just trying to avoid ebay tbh with shipping ebay fees etc I'm just not going to get a great deal.

cheers Ads.

Hi,

You can have your tv as "collection only" on ebay, plus whoever bids for it can pay you cash and save you paying any fees. The only problem with ebay is that you'll rarely get what it's worth and you'd need to have a reserve price on it, otherwise someone will get it for peanuts.

If you do manage to sell it, then try and get a new set from Amazon Warehouse, (at amazon.co.uk), who sell new tv's at reduced prices purely because the box is damaged or has been opened. I recently bought a Sony 40ex503 for £470, and there was nothing wrong with it and it arrived in two days.

Hi,

Congratulations.

Can you not speak to the marketing manager (or whoever) at work to see if you can put something towards the TV that would enable you to purchase a set you'll use? Alternatively an ad at work for anyone who wants it?

Cheers,

Cofnchtr.
