Not sure what happened there! So to summarise the invisble post above.....
I have a new LG 42LN613V-ZB Smart TV which has built in Freeview and is "Irish Tuner Compatible". I left SKY recently and used one of the two cables from the dish to auto tune the channels, around 450 with endless variations of ITV and BBC and the rest.
The Built in TV guide is patchy, the odd programme info showing up here or there. If I go into one of the channels with blank programme info, the correct info then appears in the guide. I have maybe 40 favourites set up, but not one of them shows programme information past the next programme which makes the guide pointless really.
Even though the cable goes direct to the TV, shouldn't it show all the information available or do I have to go into each channel seperately every day just to see the next program? Surely I'm missing something. I have retuned as well so that isnot the problem. I am not using the Antenna connection yet either (waiting on the proper connection).
If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful, bearing in mind although I am ok with technology, Smart TV is a whole new thing to me.
Cheers
Joe
