Tv for elderly Mum

Hi folks,

Am looking to buy a 26" TV for my Mum who's in her 80's. Sound quality is of greater importance than picture quality. What Hi Fi has much praise for the Samsung LE26C450 but with minor reservations about the sound. Have any of you out there experience of this TV? Or can you recommend another make/model? Needs to be sub-£300.

There are cheap 26" LCDs of good quality. Pair them with the Audioengine A2 speakers.

Will do wonders for the clarity of sound. They are very small and the volume is adjusted with the TV remote, so no complications with placement or setup.
