Turntable question?

How far away does a turntable have to be from your speakers. Do they cause interference when they are close to each other?

I don't know how far away they have to be.

Mine is 3.5 metres away, on the same side of the room as the speakers, and sheltering behind a heavy oak bookshelf cabinet (filled with books) on it's own rigid, spiked, levelled table. I have solid concrete floors so nothing gets through those either.

mines in the middle about 3ft from each speaker and i can't say i've noticed any problems.

maybe i would when i crank it up lots but nothing yet.

My TT sits on a wall shelf above my RH speaker and I've not had any problems, before I put the shelf up the TT was on my rack with the speaker next to it with no problem.
