Turntable help (try again)

Will I hear much improvement by changing the stylus I use on a project debut from an Ortonfon OM20 to a OM40 also my local hi-fi shop (who are really good) tell me they can but a better cartridge on the arm anyone know more about this please.

Hm. Not sure I could put 175 quids' worth of stylus on a Debut. I'd buy new speakers instead.........
