Transfering music from pc 2 pc? HELP!

Anyone know the best way to transfer my i-tunes library to my new pc can i just move the songs onto a flashdrive and install i-tunes again or do i transfer the whole program from pc to pc using some sort of cable? really not sure where to start!

Can you use a spare Ethernet cable between the two pc's or connect to Wireless Router or Hub. If your pc is on the LAN you should be able to transfer files across. Do the computers have WiFi?

Actually maybe you can't transfer but just run the music files on LAN. Maybe try using Flash drive or External drive to move them between pc's that probably easier. make sure both pc's have iTunes.

flash drive is the easiest

just copy the whole itunes directory plus subdirectories onto the flash drive then paste onto the new pc

when you install the programme just make sure it points to the right directory and you shouldnt have a problem
