Toshiba does not have any choice in the matter. Either embrace blu-ray or be wiped out.

Big write up on the home page on this...............

They make great upscaler players so i'd imagine their Bluray players should be rather good

Darth Vader: He will join us or die, my master.

The Borg: Resistance if futile, you will be assimilated.

Hmmm.... noticing a worrying trend....

Just see them in the Oval Office formulating their axis of evil with the last one on the list being a well known electrical manufacturer who has not yet jumped on the BD bandwagon.

Vision of B52s rolling out ready. Probably hit the wrong target though.

do you think it was so good because hd was better or was it down to toshibas player being more advanced

I think it was the Toshiba player been so good, theres not much difference in PQ betwen the Tosh and my Sony350,

I know people bang on about been a dead format but i got movies like Fast and Furious Trilogy, Matrix, Mission Impossible Trilogy etc,etc all for bout £5 each.........movies that i would'nt necessarily buy on BluRay.....but they all look great in HD

Also picked up some that are only coming out on BluRay now, i.e Sexy Beast, The Big Lebowski...........
