THX optimiser - Backlight settings

Hi,

So i've got my THX glasses and gone through the set up again but.....as i'm sure anyone who has used this is aware there is no advice on what setting the backlight should be set, so where should it be set?? It seems to impact greatly on the picture so it seems strange that no setting is even hinted at, perhaps it's to do with it being on dvd's and therefore lcd and plasma's weren't on the horizon then or is it just a preference thing? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I find with the TV settings it is down to personal choice. As different people have different ideas about what a good picture should look like. I have mine set either on minimum or 1. But thats how I like to have it set. I would just experiment and set it at a level that you like it at.
