The best price for Onkyo 875

Do you know where is the best place to buy 875? What would be a good deal? I guess £999 is the regular price.

You need to ring the shops - don't judge by the internet prices.

I rang a few and got quotes from £999 to £850 - if memory serves me right it was Hi-Fix for £850. However, I was buying speakers from Superfi so I asked them if they'd price match and they did so got it for £850 from them

Always ask if they can price match / beat any qoute. Also - ask for free delivery - all they can say is no.

I got mine last year from Bartletts HiFi in Islington for £925 with free delivery.

I am tempted by the Onkyo refurbished ones on Hyperfi via Ebay for £799. I have been told that they have the latest firmware update and come with a year's warranty.
On the other hand, the 875 has had a few reliability issues and a new one with 3 year warranty would be a safer bet.

Thanks for the replies £850 sounds like a good price.. I want to get the speakers as well so might be worth getting all from the same place so they can match this price..
