System Recommendations

Hi, you probably get this a lot so apologies in advance. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a complete budget system in the £600 range. That's a CD player, amp and speakers that'll work well together. Plus interconnects if you really think they'd make a difference at this price point.

I've been a little out of the loop as far as hifi stuff is concerned for years now so any help would be appreciated.

All that for £600? Nearer £800... and that's without stands and interconnects/cables.

I would probably look at the CD/Amp above, but paired with something like the MA BR2s or MS 914s - this will be closer to £600. Look at Chord crimson for interconnect and either Chord Carnival Silverscreen or QED Silver XT for speaker cable. Probably total around £700, but it's within 15% eh?

Cheers for the recommendations so far. I'll definitely look into the Marantz CD-amp combo anyway. Any other opinions?
