Switching

Hi

a few months ago,I purchased a Panasonic TH42PZ85B-tv and a Panasonic BD35 blu ray player - BD35 is connected to my tv via HDMI - when I put a disc into my blu ray player, the tv switched over without me doing anything. Recently though it has stopped doing this and I have to manually change the av channel on my tv

I havent changed anything that I can recall and its not the biggest issue in the world as I can sort it out by changing the av on my tv remote, but as I say, it used to do it for me and it doenst no longer

If anyone can shed any light on it, I'd be exremely grateful

Hi,

Have you swapped the HDMI 1 and 2 inputs round on the back of the TV? The tv will automatically switch to HDMI 1 when it sees a signal there.

Also in the setup menu, there is a box saying power on preference. Make sure this is set to AV.

If not then amstumped also

It was as simple as changing the power on preference to av. I now recall changing it to TV to see what happened and then obviously forgot to change it back
