HI could someone tell me how to set up my jamo a102hcs5 speakers to my samsaung le26r87bdx which i belive has a bilt in surround sound amp.I have a ps3 which is connected to the telly by hdmi,i dont know if the sound will come out of speakers when i have got game/films on ps3.I am new to this so i need some help to set up and after reading what hi fi for the last couple of months i know that the best way is through a amp(i was going to buy the onkyo tx-sr605 untill i found out that there is a new 606 model coming out at same price,so i will wait untill then,so a tempory setup would have to do)also every time there is a reveiw on ps3 they say that pity it is not DOLBY TRUE HD which my 60g model has a sticker on it stating it is,am i getting it mixed up with something else.

Also, if your PS3 is updated with the latest firmware, it will decode Dolby TrueHD. You'll need an amp that can accept an audio PCM signal through HDMI to get this as the PS3 can't send the Dolby TrueHD signal natively (bitstreaming), it has to decode it onboard as things stand. This may change with a future firmware update, no one is sure at the moment.

do you think i could temparally set up speakers to my samsaung untill i buy amp.i have(audio out left ant right(componant in right and left,pr ,pb and y).

Hi there

No, I'm afraid there's no way you can hook that speaker package up without an amp of some sort as the TV just isn't designed for that.
