hi, my mordaunt short 309i sub. blew up recently, only 6 months old, been told not an economic repair and can't be replaced, as it's obsolete now? (r/s)
can anyone suggest a decent upgrade to replace sub? have been looking for svs pb12nsd but not much luck yet.
any thoughts and comments appreciated.

Keep looking for an svs it's worth it! have you try'd Kent Home cinema they sell svs or have alook at the BK monlolith a beast of a sub for £400 as is the svs!

There is also the BK 200xls, if your after something cute looking, for about the same price as the 309.

my budget would be up to £450.00 ish! thought about b&w 610 but after reading some negative posts it's put me off!
how would they compare to svs? btw. missed some deals from kent home cinema on e-bay, they sold some pb12nsd's for £300.00 + delivery! blast!!!!! new ones not due in for 8 weeks.
is the monolith comparable?

yeah the monolith and the nsd are very comparable in size and preformance...check out thw BK web site and have a look for reviews online
