Hello there Hi-Fi enthusiasts 😉

I was wondering if it would be okay to have a B&W ASW610 (subwoofer) in a room that is 3,5x2,5 meters?

Or do you think the room will be filled out with way to much bass?

Thanks in advance 😉

Hi Choko. As long as it has an adjustable volume, then it should be fine. It may need adjusting depending on furnishings etc (i.e. the more heavy they are, the higher it will need to be set), but the room size shouldn't pose an issue in itself.

What main speakers are you going to be using with it?

Good to know 😉

Right now I have the Dali Lektor 1's.

Maybe later I will buy the ProAc studio 110's.

Understandably you should not place the sub to close to walls, certainly no corners for a small room of course.

But, try to place the sub on the listening position and walk around the room where the bass quality (not always quantity) sounds best to you, that is the place you should get your sub.
